Adéla Součková often creates her installations and drawings in situ, her work emphasizes the performative qualities of the drawings, which sometimes appear on the wall, sometimes on the fabrics. Adéla dances, draws with her whole body in an almost ritualistic ceremony. Her practice ranges from drawing, performance, installation, video performance to poetry. In her latest projects Součková deals with environmental psychology and the process of experience forming, which includes bodily experiences, contemporary technologies and historical references. The work called Loop (2018) made for Escapism show refers to the topics of nostalgia and return, in her drawing and digital print of analogue photograph the tree branches are roots and the way around. There are also motives of physical touch and the confusion of the languages she often works with, referring to her attempt to describe her relationship with the outside and inside world, its mythologies and technologies.
